Individuals differ from each other. What creates the difference is the personality, or the beingness. When we speak of the personality of a person, we are referring to the qualities and traits that sets that person apart from others and to the predominant and consistent behavior that can be recognized as unique and common to that person. The personality of an individual is shaped out of his or her experience, perceptions, and influences. Even with all the knowledge that we have about human behavior and personality tests, we cannot correctly determine the personality of a person. We may at the best know to which personality type a person may belong or how much of that personality type he or she represents.
